Tradition, quand tu nous tiens!
 This picture is beeing sent to us by a very close friend. It shows three brave swiss citizens having carried out their annual duty: Every member of the swiss army is supposed to practise some shooting at least once in a year. Therefore, everyone takes his assault rifle (which he keeps at home) and heads to the shooting range (shooting distance: 300 meters). It's an old swiss tradition, although it's probably not very useful from a strictly military point of view since the shooting conditions are ideal. Hence, the scene above is perfectly common in Switzerland (Hat Tip: Boeuf). |
