Zut et re-zut!
Yesterday was the day of the missed opportunities - for me that is to say. I am very upset. First, I missed Henry Kissinger's speech at the University of Zurich. As you all know, Kissinger was Nixon's National Security Adviser and later on, his and Gerald Ford's Secretary of State. I can only recommend the reading at least of some of the books he wrote in the last years ("Diplomacy", "Does America Need a Foreign Policy?" and "Crisis"). I would really have appreciated to attend to this event. Then, second, I missed Steve Vai's appearance in Vienna. Steve Vai is certainly one of most gifted guitar players ever to play in Rock music. The only thing is, his sound is not what we would call "easy sound"... You really have to like rock and guitar music to appreciate it.... |
