Some things never change
The new year's here, but the old problems remain. International press agencies still defend palestinian terrorism and the "Palestinians" still do everything to dissuade everybody that they are capable of having a state of their own. GAZA (Reuters) - Masked gunmen stormed into a club for UN workers in Gaza City on Sunday and blew up the drinking hall in a new sign of spiraling unrest ahead of a Palestinian election. (...)I used to be quite favorable towards a Palestinian state. I must admit though that everything tends to show that a sovereign Palestinian state would turn out to be a disaster - for the whole region. It is not even conceivable to me that "Palestine" would not be the breed of terror and islamism. Unless severely controlled, the palestinian society, having entirely rotten moral values, will always pose a real threat to Israel. The Palestinians are not only a people that missed every opportunity to have a state of their own, they have also repeatedly given evidence of their inaptitude to strive for a peaceful and civilized way of life. |
